An auction house where superfluous possessions and extraordinary experiences are offered. Participants are invited to donate unwanted or unused material things alongside unforgettable experiences.

Two playful and loudly competing auctioneers, 'Having' and 'Being' auction off valuables and experiences respectively. The starting price of each item is not arbitrarily determined, but calculated precisely by using an impact/CO2 calculator. Often a pair of cheap jeans turns out to be super expensive and a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time is entirely free.

AUCTION HOUSE TO HAVE OR TO BE invites us to reflect on the real value of possessions and experiences in our own lives and perhaps to set the focus differently in the future: have less, be more.
